Do the same for the Track-day for example invite the Superlap winner
and open that up to make the numbers up.

So any progress? As you said earlier, lots of people will SAY they want a track day, but really, there are only going to be a solid few who will follow through.
The rest will come up with some arse excuse as to why they cant race round a track.....

I reckon Taupo around October or November when the weather gets warmer will attract more numbers.

Another idea I had was organise a dinner the night before the event thats what we did before the club 32 GTR track-day its a real good way to meet and greet before the event in a nice relaxed atmosphere.

I reckon the middle of the year people are'nt as into it as when the weather is warmer.

Possibly - but Supra owners are always poor and anal about their "babies"

I just don't think its going to happen - a track day that is. Hell I'll be the first to put my hand up and pay - dont get me wrong, but really, others just wont.....

Yeah a meet and greet - something like split peiople into groups and have the ghey name badges. almost like these corporate team building things where you get to know each other. making more friends and all that will get people keen on another one i guess.

Your probably right but I not hearing to many betrter idea's filtering through so I just keep trying to push the idea.I just think if they keep thrashing this format they are using it will get tired real quick and the event will just slumber. So I reckon evry couple of years the change of format is what it needs to keep the event fresh and the choice for time of year is also crucial in attracting new people.
