alarm issue

my alarm recently became very quiet and now has become silent. it still works, the remote lock unlock still works, but no sound.. is it just a matter of replacing the siren or am i in the market for a new alarm ...

Dont need a new alarm, just a new siren. Pritty sure the siren only has (+) and (-) wires going to the alarm, so just join the new one onto it, or splice it.
