Postby RunningRich » Sat Jun 21, 2008 6:26 pm

Does anyone know what the no-reserve Ferrari sold for today at Turners? There were some nice cars in the auction today.

Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Don't know about the ferrari but the Aston made it to 170,000. None were actually sold as far as I'm aware.

Only applies to the modern ones though, Classic front engined Ferraris are still worth having.. e.g. Daytona, 275, 330 and of course the 250GTO ;)

Always been a Porsche fan, because they are still a practical super car (the GT2 and GT3 and 911 Turbo models). Where as the top end lambos and Ferrari's are pretty much special occasion only.

That Lambo looks horrible I reckon. Even the standard Gallardos etc don't do a whole lot for me.

OMG the Vanquish sold for $171k........

Some one got a bargain, they dont really hold their value at all those considering they were $540,000 or were abouts NZ New!

Same with the 550....
