www.trademe.co.nz would prob give you some numbers though I'm assuming that you have been there... I bought and sold mine just over a year ago for $2,500... they seem to be kinda hard to find... everyone wants to put a GZE into something else.

I too would like to know the average prices of these. From wat I gather 2k gets you a nice condition one 8) but sadly thats where my knowledge ends. Also would be awesome to find out what to look out for when buying one? Heard rust, engine cond (naturally) and something about swaybar links (dunno if its all talk though  ) Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers team :D

They're getting to the age where they're a cheapish car to buy an average or scruffy one ($2k ish) but a nice one will still be asking twice that. Considering how easy it is to spend a heap of money making a scruffy one into a decent one, sometimes it is worth just buying a nice example to start with.

if you find one that hasnt been abused, and is in good nick, 3.5-4K is not unheard of.

i have seen rooted ones go for 1500.

they are becoming quite sought after for nice ones now.
