Believe it or not, there is a lot more to enjoying life than cars.

In terms of 'Whats more enjoyable in each Country", its like this:

New Zealand: Cars.

Australia: Everything else.

And the ability to enjoy cars at all is on a downwards slide in the world. Unless you can come up with a non carbon emmiting, direct fossil fuel replacement anytime soon? :P
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

I could move to Aussie and earn a whole stack more than I do here, doing the same thing. (Guy who sat next to me did exactly that)

But that's effectively putting a price on my friends/family/lifestyle/etc here, and saying "Is all of this worth less than xxxx dollar amount per week?"

And to me, it isnt.

I'd like the better weather, and better pay... But they're the only two real reasons that I can think of, as to why I'd want to move there.

You're right, though, it's different for each person.
There's too many good things here for me which I am not willing to sacrifice for the sake of a few more sunny days and more money.

I dont mean to imply that this is the case for everyone, but wanting to move to aussie for the sake of something like escaping political idiocy, is... Well, I dont think it's gonna be better in that regard.

But bungling politicians descisions have an effect on us in the long run.

Descisions I'd rather be without.

A joke, as someone put it:
How do you know when its time for a change of government?
When you can get away with killing your kids, but not spanking them.

Oooh alaaaaana would be one? And obviously the large skateparks would be the other.

Aussie = more income, less living costs. Why cant nz offer that? I dont understand.

I'd double check that if I were you  :)

The living costs are offset, but less? Not likely.
