What are the names of the two primera team members, what name do they want for their team, and what are their online handles if they have them?

Team Vanilla Box Car or Primera for short

I'll find out the details tomorrow at work and post it up here.

Gareth's commercial pilots licence training has started in Blenheim and Lawrence is in Auckland for work and unfortunately career > gokarting in most cases.

I would doubt it. 5sec pitstops is faster than a lot of us can manage anyway :P

I is prety sure that our average stop time is around the 12 second mark, really quite tricky figuring a way to get out and then the other driver in and get the belts on and off. Should be 10 second stop like round one and special 15 second stops for ham :) Gives the rest of us a fair go at a chance of 1st position that way

Haha, I can't help being fast. For me it felt really quick though anyway. A 7 to 8 second stop looks to be more accurate an average. If we were able to get proper timing for teams then we could take the average of the teams stops in the last race in the instance they are down one driver... Might get a bit complicated though!

The pitstop for one driver I thought was to even things up and hinder the single driver team to encourage the fact its a 2 driver teams event.

Currently it makes no sense for 2 drivers to compete, its an automatic lose against the single.

You were fast, but were you 3 seconds faster then the rest of us? No. yet you'd need to be to be as many laps up as you were. Lastnight was a race for second. First was a given.

The comment where sam stated no change to the 5second rule for the next round makes little sense if this is a reasonably fair and fun comp. Most teams had a comment to makee on the 5sec rule, we all heard the mutterings, not just from me, Clint and Loudtoy.

Other rules were adjusted as and when needed pretty quickly by you all, whats the problem with this one?

Its a Teams event, if your a no show you deserve to be handicapped to acknowledge those that DID show as a team, no matter the reason for the no show. You should all have enough friends out there who would b keen for a blat to find a replacement for the race, I'm guessing you didn't bother Tristan. There was a Mag and Turbo driver there you could have and should have used if you couldn't find anyone else. 2 guys racing as singles in a 2 man teams race is... yeah.

I'm not the only who feels this way, but I may just be the only one who says so. So be it.

If your serious about not changing this rule I'm out for the final. Its a waste of $25 to do laps pissed off with other drivers who are also pissed off. Defeats the purpose of the get together in the first place.

I don't think it's an advantage at all, cause all of the other 1 driver teams that have competed in the series have ended up laps down due to exhaustion, and the pitstop rule was working as a means for them to keep near the lead lap. If tristan had that much of an advantage then surely he would have been further ahead then he was at the end?

It's indoor go-karts, not formula 1.
