or you could save yourself the hassle, fork out and buy the bits you need from toyota......

Seriously, I don't think you're going to have any luck finding an M11 nut or bolt off the shelf in any shop in NZ. I've had a discussion with the owners of The Bolt Shop about sizes like this before and basically what they said is you're out of luck anywhere.

The only other thing I could suggest is if its aluminium/some kind of soft metal that these studs belong in, is as above, get a best fit imperial size and live with that, or drill the holes out ever so slightly and carefully hammer, or (preferably) press some M12 studs in.

Try The Bolt Holder in Matamata Ph (07)888-6960.

If they don't have it, or won't make it for you, then you probably can't get it anywhere in NZ.

I've knocked out and measured the studs from the C52 gearbox output shaft as follows:

length overall 31mm
length to head 26mm
thread length 16mm
spline diameter 8.0 to 8.5mm - slight taper over 10mm
thread pitch seems to be the same as any other nut that fits a 12mm openender.

Hope that helps.
See ya

Thanks alot for your help! Seems as these are too small.
I have found out that some light commercials should have this thread pattern.

Well!!

Managed to find a wheel stud which was very close to te specs i need.

Its a 7/16 UNF stud from a holden apparently. Thread pitch measures at about 1.25 compared to the 1.0 that was stock :o

Installed anyways.,... hope it holds out :)
