Aristo/GS300 Suspension

Postby Boosted_162 » Sun Aug 31, 2008 10:16 pm

Im thinking about getting some coilovers for the GS300, and looking at Tein Super Streets (i blame Cliff, his Teins are so damn hot 8))

Now, theres like no listing for any suspension for GS300s. So would i assume that Aristos share the same suspension?? Because they are identical pretty much except for options.

Thanks :)

why teins?

before you buy make sure you can get replacment parts and that the parts are well priced

most guys i know who have had teins cant get them rebulit when bad things go wrong

i run BC coil overs in my jzx100 and have convinced many pple to change over too
parts are cheap and are all of the shelf in NZ

but to answer your Q yes rev head is 100% correct

The price of the Teins i found is barely more than the price of the basic BCs. Nothing to do with aftermarket Lexus suspension is off the shelf anyway  . Ive looked into BC, and id have to wait either way.

all depends on what they need.
if they just need a seal then not much
if they are totally stuffed, a lot more

just be careful buying TEINs off trademe
often they are quite stuffed having done many Ks in japan.
some of the older TEINs are a quite different from what they do now and you may need to wait for parts from japan (note those are old old ones never sold new here) have struck that once.
