3SGE engine builders please help: unknown piece !!!

Hello,

I'm going to rebuild a friend's 3SGE.
In the parts boxes I found a piece that, even if I built many 3SGTE, I never saw!!
It should be even fallen in the box... don't know... better if I ask you if you recognize it !!

I'm pretty sure they normally go in the union side of the power steer pump. Not 100% sure of their purpose, maybe like a little restrictor or something.

From memory that goes in the high pressure hose at the top of the firewall near the brake master cylinder (on RHD models)
