Talking with a few people last night seems a bit of intrest in a get together, as soon as i get online to talk about it and see if anyone else is keen it seems there was allready more banter about it So..

Lets say we meet up nice and early as some people now start work sooner and dont go to unit like back in the old days.

Say 8pm and not at the ports as its been demolished and built on so lets head to the car park.

Its a public park on the left hand side of Gladstone park just up the hill off quay street and then off The Strand.

See this map for an idea how to get there from the old meet spot.

Im going in regardless and i know of 2 others keen at this stage so i imagine knowing some are going people might give it a crack.

Show some intrest here non the less and we can get an idea what sort of numbers we will finally end up with.

Also new rule express intrest without pre blaming your cars why you didnt show up when you dont come.

Otherwise im keen unless my headgasket blows again.. Wrong id just have to come in the Mitsi :/ or worse.. The ford ;o

to be honest - bar for one guy with an ae111 who i helped, he as getting hassled for factory recaros like mine , the rest did me no favours .. Was kinda annoyed ..

in situations like that you be good , and just comply - less chance of big fines , and such instead of acting like dicks and arking up the cops to go further ..

Even better would be go and support a drag club if they want to so that stuff.

So ive got to jump thru multiple hundreds of dollars of fines , re woffing re certing , and paperwork , just to clear a basically standard car ..

$&#$% waste of my time ..

And to top it all off - ive had 2 DB tests done now - and even at 5000 RPM , my car STILL passes DB limits ..

1 new face and 1 very old face from my persepective so at least some people did make the effort with the rain.. Perhaps next week we can get more intrest eh

car is quieter now - changes made - so off to make it legal again next week i hope !

that means a weds soon ill bbe able to roll her out again , safe knoing i ont be targeted , and with a few new mods since last time it was seen Cliff

Lets start at 7:45 or somthing i dont know about you guys but i start work at 7 now a days and starting a meet at 9 is puhsing it with a drive home..

Lets aim to get at least one more face and build from there.. Heres allways good times to be had with some merryment within a cool group of people we just need to rebuild it.

hm i remember going to meets that would finish up after midnight (girvs? pjay?) and i would start work at 6am with 10 hr days.
yea it did suck but it was still good to get out and catch up at maccas
