Nah, i ran wide and was to far out on the ripples (the new nasty style ones) they suck you out further when you hit them. Yeha I had just recovered it then the damn starlet decides to exit stage left in front of me with out notice. All ended well though.

the wedge belongs to the owner of access automation in petone they make and install cable cars all around wellington, my mate works there and I was talking to the owner about the car, he was giving me some g-force and power figures but I can't remember what they were, something ridiculous though lol

Holy crap Coryn!! Were there enough laps which you did near that time for it to not be a possible mistime? Definitely not saying I doubt it - Tony cracked the 1:14s with like 230kw and I've watched a pretty stock R35 GTR running near that time there too but thats a MASSIVE drop. Either way you were going really really fast or stupid fast, so congrats!

I would like to get back to Manfeild for the Intermarques in a couple of weeks to try and back it up.I've quietly always thought with slicks a 15 was entirely possible and I was aware of the timing issue's they were having in the morning so for me I was a little suspicious over this time. The big thing which kinda swayed me was the average speed for that particular lap was 5-6 kph faster than I had done all day so I guess I'll just take it and try and do the something similar at the intermarques.

Fingers crossed you back it up within reasonable error, it will be awesome :D How do you know it was 6kph average speed faster, do you have an RSM or something?

We weren't having that many timing issues in the morning, but an error is always possible.

Depends if you pulled out one lap that was miles faster than all your other laps. If so, chalk it up to being an error.

Looking at Coryn's other lap times it does seem unlikely.

run1 86.28 80.31 79.02
run2 77.94 78.44
run3 84.72 78.39 78.03
run4 85.31 74.52 77.09 89.06
run5 82.41 77.22 77.53

1st laps are standing start times (2nd run looks like it might have started timing on the 2nd lap)
red car
1/4 mile - 14.683s @ 91.83mph
Manfield - 1:24s
Taupo - Track1 1:53s (road tyres) - Track2 1:22s - Track3 48s (with esses) - Track4 1:58s

With all your fastest lap times on the sheets came with a average speed per lap.

If it is an error or not I'll always just have to get back out there and give it another crack and see how I go.

Ahh stink, that means the speed will just be calculated from an erroneus timing :( I was hoping your average speed was calculated from a different source to the lap timing. Oh well, looks like you did really low 1:17s anyway which would still be a PB?
