National for Electorate as it's the only party that has any chance of snatching it from Labour. Act for Party.

Where's the party that wants to Abolish the United Nations and appoint a grand world leader... oh, but they still need to raise $1000 to take part in the election.

Though the problem is that I don't feel inspired by anyone in particular, but National seems to be pointing the most in the direction that I feel is right for me (and seeing as I think I know whats best for everyone) everyone else.

I don't like voting, but will vote Labour just to try and stop National getting in.
Nothing National have said makes sense, but it all sounds like emotional statements to grab votes. I believe privatisation only makes things worse for average joe, so IMO National will f*** the country worse.

thats true. not going for national at all as they seem to change their stance each day depending on the weather and what everyone else is saying.

selling up state owned assets "not in the first term" will put us in more shit.

I heard on the radio that there is a option of something like:

[ ] I choose not to vote

That really is a cop out though. I mean if you don't vote then what right do you have to whinge about the state of the nation as you see it?

With the number of laws and crap that have been put through under labour (Mainly Sue Bradford should be shot (Green I know)) I just want them out to give someone possibly competent a shot. As I said earlier there is no one out there who inspires me to vote for them. But National seems to be the only party capable of removing labour and let's face it with the economy in the situation it is the last thing we need is for Cullen to play with interest rates as he sees fit.

I Vote other

In early 2008 while frustrated with not only the current political options but Eddie Murphy’s latest choices in movies, Ben came up with the idea of having a political party. He mentioned it to Bill, who thought it sounded like a very lame theme for a function. Some confusion followed but that was soon cleared up and we both decided that they should run for parliament. Bill had always fancied himself as a long distant runner placing 3rd in the Bay of Plenty 10k Under 12 Champs in 1990 and Ben was happy to follow him in his beat up Nissan Sunny (mainly because he's lazy), so it was decided. Bill and Ben would run for parliament. Unlike other political parties that promise so much and deliver so little, the Bill and Ben Party promise to promise nothing. And yes, we do realise that by promising no promises we are actually making a promise, but that’s the only promise we’re going to make. We promise.

That's assuming you had no other bars.

My point was there must be a reason that you live here. And if you're going to complain about the country but not do anything at all to try and change that then maybe you are the giant douche or the turd sandwich.

I mean there are always other options. Move countries is one. And if you are going to say that you won't because you love NZ then you have no reason to complain, or if you do want to complain you should vote and at least try and fix whatever you see wrong with the country, because if you can't be assed fixing it don't bitch about it.

Bullshit, I can complain as much as I want. The election isn't the be all and end all of politics in this country.

And to vote to try and fix whatever I see wrong with the country, I'd have to believe that any of the standing parties are actually going to do anything, which I don't.
