Hi All

I got a 1995 LS400 has done 110,000 kms, And the engine shakes around 2000 rpm when its cold, and when its at a normal temperature it seems to be fine from 0 to 4000 rpm ,but after 4000 is like a rev cut or missing fire and the engine just shakes ,the rpm goes up and down a bit. I feel like a fuel cut or missing fire.

Then i changed the fuel filter and spark plugs , but sadly it doesnt help at all....

Any one has any knowleadge with this problem or used to have the same problem?

Thanks

Checked the codes?
Do they have air flow meter (hotwire?)? If so maybe that is dirty or faulty...
Coil might be on the way out....
Or simple stuff like water in the distributor cap can cause similar issues

It got a air flow meter i check that already it seems quite clean but may be faulty
i dont think i can find any faulty codes as the fault code on dash hasnt come up..
i just dont want to spend more money to find the problem just hope any one who had this problem may tell me straight away which part is faulty, i can change the air flow meter, coil, but end up more money spending...
but thanks any way!!! cheers

just cause theres no light on the dash doesnt mean there aint a fault. check for codes anyways, it will give you the best idea of if there is anything funky going on in your car. if its shaking could be a miss? so check resistance of your leads, inspect visually and check spark plugs too
