any tricks for removing cam belt pulley from crank?

this not usually a problem but this one in particular is proving to be a real bitch of a thing.
on a silvertop 20v 4age. cant get woodruff key out, and pulley wont budge either.
anyone got any tricks to removing them?

Smash off the backing bit on it and get a puller in behind. I need a replacement one :(

no jacking screws on the pulley then i take it?

got it off eventually. just have to be a bit brutal with a couple flat headed screw drivers between the oil pump housing and pulley. shock loading does the trick rather than constant pressure.
no jacking screws unfortunately and not enough room for a pulley puller.
should probably replace the pulley now as the lip is pretty munted :(

Removed mine from my 1600 motor last week.
Had been on there ever since I owned the car.

CRC and a claw hammer used as a lever did the trick,
pull on the area where the keyway is,
and managed to get it off with no damage.

YEah i tapped mine off quite gently with a hammer and it just came off but then realised i munted the pulley.
