Im now looking into converting my wagon from 4afe to 4agze.

Im looking at a ae101 gtz as a donor as there pretty cheap at the moment, but what i really want to know is if the actual subframes are the same.

I have read on here that the rears compatable so the discs will go on the back instead of the drums, however all the front area i have no idea?

Whats the easiest way to achieve this?

Also is the wiring harness interchangable at the ecu?
(changing fuel pump anyway)

would anyone be interested in a GTZ shell or even a 4afe powered GTZ? hahha hah aha

Has the GTZ got Super Strut Suspension?

If it does then Id suggest leaving your wagon's suspension in it, as the SS tends to crap out and is expensive to fix.

Engine wise, the 4agze will bolt straight in.

Wiring wise, If you are leaving the 4agze standard, use the standard ecu and splice the 4afe interior ecu loom in the 4agze loom.

Didnt think about the superstrut idea will have a look tonight

Am i right in saying the bonnet wont close with the standard top mount?

Im not sure to be honest. When my wagon had a 4agze in it, it had a front mount.

If you're worried about it hitting the bonnet, I have a fiberglass bonnet with a scoop molded into it, for any 100 series Corolla. Willing to sell if you would like it.
