Postby NOLAW » Thu Nov 27, 2008 7:03 pm

dowdee or soemthing washers is what you want. has rubber moulded to a steel washer basically so it has some strength to it.

Why not let your fingers do the walking and look in the Yellow Pages under 'fasteners'.
If you're in Wellington, Schrodoco will probably have everything you're looking for.

Dowty washers is what they're called, places like Dotmar/Engineering plastics do them. Or else go buy/find some roofing nails or tek screws and pull the washers off them

dowdy washers are common on banjo bolts, and fittings in hydraulic systems,

any hose shop like hydralink or enzed should be able to help you out,

as for the bolts try atom fasteners in auckland, they will send them and are cheap

the rubber is only a small piece in the middle of a steel washer
