Hey guys,

I am in the middle of changing a blown head gasket (only 8 months after the fact). Ive cleaned up the head, but it looks like the gasket blowing + sitting around for ages didnt do it any good. There is reasonably bad pitting on one of the valve seats (bad enough that excessive lapping will probably deform the valve?). And 3 others with mild pitting.

Anyway can someone recommend a good shop to take it to for some work. It will need the seats resurfaced and re-installation of the valve springs (as I cant find a tool to do it myself). Also needs some burrs cleaned off around the ports.

Dont have money to burn atm, so by good I mean cheap ;)

Its in at Engine reconditioning services now, only chose them as they were closer than the other crowd. Anything more than $0 is alot for me atm, but the price they gave me is pretty reasonable, thanks :)

Hopefully have the car up and running by Sunday, miss my gze
