Just a smidgen under $100 for the RX7 at the moment, about $85-90 for the BMW depending on how long we let the light stay on

I see West Texas Crude is now down to $40-41 a barrel so the oil companies should be able to tumble prices further before Xmas instead of putting them up.I think 98 now is under $1.50 a litre and falling.......

Really? Are they using E10 there too? I'm sure the Mobil here was still 11c more than 91.

I read in the paper today that some analysts are tipping the price to go as low as US$25 a barrel next year if the global downturn hits hard in China and OPEC

anyway, last i saw , it was going for about 88c - litre (91) here on the Gold Coast

yet in todays dom post theres an article quoting opec ppl saying on 17th dec they are going to drastically cut production.. to scare the market into going up again

NNNNNOOOOOOOO! happy with current full price! fingers crossed that it returns to the good old days when i got sent down on my 21 speed to get fuel for the lawn mower and it was 98c! and thats allll the way in Kaitaia!( 1 hour south of falling off the north island)

Wounder how much oil prices had to do with the current economic situation, and how they think things will go if they up teh price again.

eh? you dont get it do you.. the CO2 released when you burn it is the same CO2 that the bacteria pulled out the air. In fact, if you didn't burn the petrol those little buggers would eat all the CO2 in the atmosphere and we all be killed by global cooling.

Gimme global warming any day, hot chicks in skimpy outfits vs. hot chicks under 3 layers of woolen clothing.. Global warming for teh win!

Yeah its a closed loop so any Co2 released is balanced by the C02 absorbed.

In fact using Oil is a closed loop too....the only difference is the time factor: If new oil/petrol was created at the same rate as we consume it, then there would be no problem.....unfortunately it takes millions of years for the carbon to be re-absorbed.

i just assumed that the uptake wouldn't be as efficient as the production
