running n/a cams in gtt caldina?

hey i am a bit stuck at the moment i have a gtt caldina and to cut a long story short the exhaust cam is rooted i have been tryng to track down a new exhaust cam which i have been told by toyota is the same as a gen 3 3sgte and have not had any luck but was wondering if anyone had run a n/a cam ie more lift and duration and what engine did it come from ie st202 3sge? i know this works in ca18dets b6t familas and rb20's etc why not the 3s??
