Who's going to be in or near Gizzy between Xmas/NY for camping/RnV etc? Thinking if there's enough interest, could organise a bit of a gathering

I'll be there I always go back home for Xmas.I won't be attending R&Vs though but I should'nt be to hard to spot my username is the plate on my car.Hopefully the weather will be rocking like it was last year.....

For a meet up spot I reckon the Midway beach car-park go have lunch at the cafe there and maybe go from there.Thats what me and Mr.Phreak off here did last year...

I was thinking of maybe the Read's Quay carpark (the closed off bit between the Wainui Bridge and Childers Rd). It's just we won't get a seaside view :lol:

Ohh well I'm up there from the 24th-6 or 7th of Jan so I'll keep an eye on this space.I normally do a cruise up the coast to Tokomaru Bay on New Years Eve stop off at the pub there and have Fish n Chips its real good up there but I'm pretty easy there's heaps of places to go for a drive I guess.

It's funny you say that, because docTRD, myself, and friends are camping at Tolaga Bay from the 29th/30th till the 1st/2nd. So the meet will need to be 26th/27th/28th/29th

Should see us on the way through to your Fish and Chips :lol:
