i have installed dobi lowering springs into my uzz30 soarer and it hasnt lowered it at all!!! looks more like it has raised it up a few mm . I compared them with the standard springs and the dobi's are slightly shorter maybe 5mm but i thought they mite compress more but nope! I also compared them with the tein lowering springs to get the lowest option and the dobi's looked like they would do the trick. Anyone out there had this same issue?? i guess all i can do know other than adjustables is to get the shocks shortend and springs compressed.
i'd say your car was lowered to start with, or the springs were old and saggy
did you get the right springs?
can be hard to tell which springs will be lower, just by looking
a tiny difference in wire diameter can make a big difference, then theres number of coils etc
it definatly has not been lowered as this thing is high assssss!! i can get my fist between tyre and gaurd .
according to the Dobi catalogue i am using the correct part number.
i stuck in low jamexes from a ae101 into my bzg(its non superstrut) and it did the same, raised it a little. why? shocks were old and farked i reckon(i replaced them at the same time) and the factory springs were rooted. much more responsive ride with the new springs
EP82 GT-went mega hard for completely stock, 15.09 quarter, gone now
AE111 Levin BZG current! 4AGTE next? you never know....
if you reckon you have the correct dobi springs, next step is to check the dimensions against the listings to make sure they hadn't been incorrectly labeled
