Postby jakesae101 » Sat Jan 03, 2009 4:47 pm

ok guys till i can fork out enough coin to do a 4age conversion in my ae85 i was wondering if there is anything i can do to get a bit more out of the 3au. I have done all the usual airfilter sparkplugs coolent (after my radiator broke) oil and oil filter anything like carbies off another toyota? had a look and found pretty much nothing on how to give these a bit more grunt

They aren't meant to be powerful. You would just be throwing money away.

Just save up faster to get the 4age in there. <- best advice IMO

Wasting money to get minimal power will just mean you're stuck with it longer as you'll have to save for longer.

yep keep saving

if you've got it in good working order and correctly tuned then there isnt much you can do cheaply
best to save ya cash... after a quick intake and exhaust mod your left with opening it up. and that is not cheap and is pretty pointless on a 3a
