Weight of parts...

Postby xsspeed » Mon Jan 05, 2009 2:40 pm

Kind of a tech question

Need to get some quotes to send some stuff by post

Anyone know the weight of a AE111 BZG bonnet (sorry wrote bumper by mistake)? My Bicep-o-meter says around 15kgs?

Also how much for a FWD 3spd auto - A131 to be exact. I'm gunna guess 30 - 40kg?

Cheers
Steve

If you have bathroom scales. Weigh yourself, then pick up the bumper/whatever and weigh yourself while holding it. Then Calculate the weight.

Thats what I've done to get a rough estimate of various things I've removed on my GTZ for weight reduction. You'd be surprised how much things weigh!

PS, if you don't have bathroom scales...ignore this post and take back the wasted seconds of your life

Will have to go visit mum and dad :D

Got some fish scales so could try hang the bonnet on that.

I try not to bug the neighbours where possible. Their dissaproving stares over the fence when they can hear/see/smell power tools/cars/smoke tell me enough.

Even though one f**cker smokes right outside my bedroom window when its open...muppit
