Caldina (ST215) intake filter

Postby cat007 » Mon Jan 05, 2009 8:46 pm

Hey everyone

We've got a crappy HKS foam filter on our GTT and its falling apart.
Wanting a replacement filter but it would appear a normal POD would be too long.

Any suggestions?

Cheers

Because they are CRAP! It came with the car and I've been wanting to change it for 3 years now lol

They fall apart and dont filter very well and aren't very breathable

That's fine - but a normal pod is too long for a ST215 Caldina.....

Don't have the factory air box unfortuantly. The HKS jobbie that's in there came with the car - without an air box.....

Could you not re-route the pipe with some more pipe and some joiners?

I could - I haven't thought about that or looked into where it'd go

Take that crappy foam filter off before some of it gets sucked in and destroys your turbo! It's happened before and it'll happen again.
I too vote for the factory airbox and panel filter option, all those airboxes must be lying around somewhere.
