Hi,

Just a quick question, I need to replace the water hose (silvertop) that goes from the rear of the water pump flange to the pipe that bends up into the head, is there a part number for this or just grab any hose that fits? Anyone know the size I need?

I might have one on my spare engine you can have, not sure if you really want a 2nd hand water pipe though. But if its urgent...?

F**k, I gave that away with the Trueno. I went and brought a new one myself to replace it, but sold the car before getting around to it :lol:

Was about $20 from memory, its just a 38mmish piece of hose.

its got a p/n and avail from toyota
never measured one to see if its a common size!

got one on 7afe head, looks same as 20valve

Thanks anyway man, its' not that urgent but it needs replacing soon! Looks like a bastard job to do, so am going to get the parts together and do it when I do the cambelt and waterpump.

Mr Revhead, I realise you don't work for Toyota anymore, but any chance you'd have access to the p/n?
