4afe with broken exhaust, what else would fit.

Postby catchafox » Fri Jan 09, 2009 4:50 pm

Hi ive got a 94 ae101 corolla (nz new) 5 door hatch and the flexi join in the front exhaust pipe has split. Can any one help me with info of a different engine or chassis or year corolla that would replace it. I can get a 98 (bug eye) corolla one but would this fit on? Does any one have one for sale (prefere Akl). Many thanks.

Try an exhaust shop, why bother replacing it with a 2nd hand part that may break soon after.

They will be more than happy to give you a price to replace your flexi with a new one

thanks evil_si but as said it costs the same for the flexi as a replacment pipe then theres the time to weld the flexi on at home, ill keep that as plan B for now.
