this on my rear daiyama adjustys.
its on the back (looking at the hub) and stops the sway bar linkage from being to mount up with the suspension, any ideas, what it could be used for
or can i just bend it out of the way?

yeah abs or brake line etc
rather than a make a separate shock for each variation, they just put it all on every shock
though if its interfering with the sway bar link it would suggest that its not made for you car

there are some ae101s in the countrys using this suspension, although none are station wagons

Yeah my AE101 rear shocks came with something like that, doesn't hit anything so I left it on there.

After relooking and reading whats now been posted i get what the questoin is, i was answering based on what the finger apeared to be touching, Not reconising it was in reference to the bracket coming off the shock with a hole and a more eliptical hole on it.
pyro_sniper2002 - I read his question and still answered that appropriatly.
He didnt rule out no one could put him on and suggest a toyspeed banner as apposed to a generic banner from a store, i dont know if theres stock of said banners etc but it was still a direction to the best source of information in short.
