Funny the holdens run a ford rear suspension setup, hmm whats that a ford front suspension setup to, wait what was that did i hear someone say ford nine inch diff, yes i did i believe. Ooo wait is holden now copying fords head on the exhaust side - gee whiz wonder why that might be?? Engine management/gearbox and brakes are all so far removed from what you can get on actuall street cars that it's not really relevant!
Last year holden was only winning cos they had better drivers and the fords were ballasted up as well!
If you watch the local v8 touring cars you get a better idea of what the cars are actually like when they come into the country! - Funnily ford is cleaning up here too!

As you can probably tell i'm a big ford fan so my vote went there!

hey i believe holden lovers are like plagues: its like a family/mate thing:
As soon as a child is born theres a brainwash process before the kid can even walk to think holden is the schism - then without giving FORD a fair go there is this ANTI-FORD feeling inside them. There old man will buy them HSV hats, bedspreads, jackets, stickers, tshirts, anti-ford posters etc.. and the poor kid thinks its ok to be a victim of the HOLDEN PLAGUE....
and so on the plague continues.

also mustangs, old fords, cosworths, escorts are still fords so if they are the ones you like, then its still a ford. but go ahead and hate the Ford's because your a victim of the HOLDEN BRAINWASH PROCESS.

this may be true, but it is the same the other way around too ... ford plague!!! My sister has just had a baby and he has already had pics of mustangs slammed in his face! I tried to even that up with a page of holdens from the auto trader!! poor wee chap!! :lol:

yes i know it can work the other way around, but today while fuddy-duddy shopping (the warehouse) i saw a whole lot of holden merchandise etc.. and none for ford. also HOLDEN is more of a merchandiced product

what i mean by holden's brainwash plague, they have loads of things for children such as mini-chairs, mini-sofa's, school bag's etc.. - ford doesnt have any of that. they attack youngsters before they even have their choice so yea that is what i mean by a plague..

sure go and plague your children if you like holden, there is no law

fords not because theyre any "better" than holdens its just a personal choice at the end of the day the bloody two of them may as well be the same dammit :evil:

i believe they were driven by Dick Johnson.....

i also believe that Brock never drove a ford on the racetrack...... i could be wrong though....

Yes Mr Bob you are right. And Brock did race an RS500 (also a BMW M3)

Mareko told me that you can buy Holden stuff at Farmers , and that
Ford makes a GT40 which is quite 'gangsta' and cod 'stop drop and roll' on any Holden.
