Yeah, Stace and I will probably be coming up, Haven't 100% confirmed yet what the details are, ie. whether we will stay with the rest of the bunch somewhere or ask you nicely :wink:

Dates are Friday 6th March, Sat 7th and Sun 8th March, based out of the South Taranaki Car Club in Stratford

I'm up there for the Nationals, though I will stay in accommodation as close as possible to the speedway (Sunday event venue).

Any suggestions for close to there, that isn't
1) Harlem
2) Gold plated pricing :lol:

PS: Stratord I think isn't it?

Stratford is ~15mins away (south) of our place (i drive there for work every day)
theres a couple of motels in Stratty, no idea on cost or anything like that. Not a huge amount of accom around tho, as why would anyone want to go to Stratford.
The motel near the train yards looks fairly nice

there is also a speedway track called Ferndene in between Inglewood and Egmont Village (~5mins away from home) that has a large concrete (skid) pad, so depending if its Stratford Speedway (Speedway NZ track) or Ferndene Speedway (Outlaw/CTRA track)

i think the whole thing is based around Stratford and Eltham from what i read in the paper the other day
