I had a random chat with an owner of one parked beside the road near a car show we were both going to. He had the 22B and an Sti of the same vintage. He reckoned the 22B wasn't actually much to write home about. Said it was basically the same as his Sti in general, but with slightly different handling due to the wider track.

Have you seen the blue/green 165 race car on trademe, under competition cars? Faaaaark that thing looks rather seriously mint for a competition car.

Normally a competition car only has to look good when seen at 160k, from about 50 meters away ;)

Yes, that's the car. For a race car, that really is incredibly nicely presented. If the standard of car prep is the same as the standard of presentation, that would be a very nice car, for stupidly cheap money.

I'd hate to think how much money he must have spent on the car compared to the sale price.
