Quickest way to tell if you got the Monoblock Callipers is by weight they 4 kgs and they are Black made by Sumitomo and have a White TRD emblem on the side of them.

LF-A was just a fancy pants Lexus.
Doesn't really matter though as neither car will ever see the light of day.

AFAIK, a lot of magazines hinted the LF-A as being the 're-incarnation' of the supra, and the FT-HS was also supposed to be the new Supra, I wish they'd make up thier mind already! I obviously have no idea which one it is, so I haven't really made a decision yet, but I think more people believe it is the LF-A (just because of the boy-racer magazines saying it is) which is why I said that rather than the FT-HS.

But neither of them are going to be made now, which absolutely sucks. I was wishing in 5-10 years that I could get a used one  .

Brandon

Wikipedia can be edited by anyone (Though I'm not sure why anyone would waste thier time??). I'll check into it though, I'm pretty sure it's been scrapped.

Last time I saw it was 2010 release date but I have talked in depth with a certain Lexus dealer and he was all abit coy about it.

Lexus Toyota they are all Toyota's well thats what it says on all the Lexus I mean Toyota parts.

Well, Lexus isn't Strictly 'Toyota', though it is a branch of Toyota.

The cars branded 'Toyota' are mostly environmentally friendly, Lexus is the branch that isn't as much into that.

That's why a lot of people are thinking the (now scrapped??) Lexus LF-A was supposed to be the new supra. Though, In my mind, if it's not a Toyota, and not called a supra, then it's not.

well if thats the way you think then you must think the bastard child that was the cavalier is toyota :( (vomits to death)

i hope the supra makes it to top 3 podium. its about time a toyota is up there.

I had a quick read of the latest wheels mag apparently so they seem to think Lexus have gone to far to turn back now so 2010 sometime the LF-A will be released.

Get this though it could be upwards of $400,000 plus NZD

Also 4.8 litre V-10 420 KW revs to 9000 RPM so it seems it should be a bit of a weapon.

other than the lx470 theres a hybrid version of pretty much all lexus models.

Erm...off the top of my head:

Lexus RX Hybrid
Lexus GS Hybrid
Lexus LS hybrid

Toyota Prius
Toyota Crown Hybrid
Toyota Estima Hybrid
Toyota Harrier Hybrid

from memory there was also a Kluger Hybrid too?

I think most classes of car have a Hybrid option on the JDM...

anyway...we were talking about Supras? I tried to nick this one while I was there a couple of years ago...couldn't fit in my luggage though.

Nice, the Esso Supra! 1UZ powered! But I think I like what I see next to it a bit more.... ;)
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

haha yeah I was pretty happy- I had to ask really nicely to be able to sit in it.....but in general they seem far happier over their to let you in and around their race cars and cars in the show room etc....I guess because their respect levels are a lot higher so you don't get yobbos nicking bits off cars and breaking things.

I've been meaning to upload some photos from my times in Japan...went and saw a SuperGT round at Fuji. That was incredible.
