Hunting Idle in an AW11- From What?

Previously the car had been running beautiful - better than a stock idle smooth as and at about 900rpm

My car stopped running right, so I repaired what I thought was the problem and sent it to the tuner to retune it. After getting it to start he informed me that the cambelt was loose - (ie was what had gone wrong)

After I redid the cam timing, I have tried playing with the dizzy timing to see if I can get a steady idle but it seems to hunt up or down by about 500rpm.

The engine is a 7agte, and I have blocked off or removed all the cold idle up that was stock on the AW11.

Is it more likely to be a tune issue, air leak, or something else?


- this car is starting to piss me off so any helpful advice would be appreciated.
