pop up headlight warrant fail

can they fail me on my warrant if one of my popups doesnt work on my ae85 i just keep them up the whole time (in the proccess of fixing but wof is due tomorow) the lights and everything go just not the motor on the drivers side

I wouldn't think so. As long as the lgihts work and they point in the correct direction, I don't see a problem.

If it was stuck down, i would fail it. No reason to fail it if it sticks up though, as long as it functions.

sheesh where are you taking it? i'd be asking to see what section of the VIRM it fails under. sounds like warrant inspector making up his own rules to me, i just had a quick browse of our VIRM and couldnt see anything about it under lights.

is possible theres something under body or external fittings or something but i doubt it.
