well i got a phone call today and my car passed, all it needed was a rear number plate light and the front light adjusting.

Can finally get the car back on the road :D

Wasn't really anything wrong with it anyway. Fair bit of oil down the back of the motor, but its a 3S, its what they do

i've yet to see one that doesnt do it. my wagon is just starting to drop a bit from the cam covers too.

sure is nearly every single one ive seen does it.
my caldina was good at 75k, but since 100km ive noticed its begun.
i've always wondered if the backwards tilt of the engine has something to do with it.

My MR2 doesn't leak. But I think the engine only has 15k on it since a rebuild. :lol:

Hahaha, my AW11 caused a few issues like that too.

You wonder how a mechanic couldn't have delt with an MR2 before, they've been around for 25 years and its somewhat obvious looking at one that the engine's gonna be in the back.

Mind you, I have had someone ask me if its front wheel drive before… after I showed him the engine.

There is one car that you could be forgiven for thinking that.

Those mid 80's corolla SR's or something that have a 3A N-S mounted but fwd

Why you would have one is a different question though.

There's quite a few FWD cars like that. Renaults come to mind.
