Where to buy baby size race overalls ?

Postby AE85.6 » Mon Feb 16, 2009 11:34 am

Heh an odd question I know but wanting some to buy for a present,
Don't need to be anything extreme or real material just something race car looking for a baby.

ford has some on their website which I purchased after looking around for ages but then called me couple days later saying they don't do them anymore.

any suggestions ?

would like toyota ones ideally but they don't really seem to be something everyone bothers to make heh.

cheers

http://www.flamecrusher.com/made-to-measure.html

there are other places in NZ that custom make suits as well. Most sponsor drivers so maybe check out some of the stickers on the cars

cool cheers man.
prob a little extreme for what I am after, does not need to be anything custom made from real flame proof material or anything just trying to find somewhere that sells something of the shelf that looks like a baby size race suit. Baby will not actually go racing......just yet.

Adam's his name. he makes racesuits/teamwear for a heap of the chch drifters.
i'm sure if you asked nicely he could shrink a replica set.

Thing is it costs just as much to make a small set as it does to make larger sizes.

I would be surprised if you couldn't find something in the stretch & grow section of Farmers or baby clothes shops that could be altered to look the part. Not everything is made out of towelling is it?

my son had a suit made of ripstop nylon that was fashioned like a race suit, and looked moreso once a few patches went on. will endeavour to find out the supplier.

that sounds promising mate ill check them out cheers !

fangsport:
cheers man I flicked him a pm so see whats doable.

TRD Man:
ye I understand that, have seen some in the past and they were just like the real ones. Plus there would not really be much demand for them. Thats why something that looked the part is all I need. Will try farmers but couldn't find much around the place so far.

Check the females in your family/friends for an "Overlocker", there should be at least 1 who has one, make your own time.
