Altezza q's?

Hey all, proud owner of a 2000 RS200 Altezza here, just got a few questions about the car and if anyone could help me out that would be great!

Firstly, what grade of oil is recomennded for it? its done just on 100k so im unsure as to what it would use, and i only ask because i had trouble with my previous car because everytime it was serviced a different grade of oil was used, and i just want to make sure i get it right this time

And lastly what are some of the more common problems and repairs you'd normally have to do to them?

Any help would be great!

common problems

the bonnet stay holder. ALWAYS breaks if you dont undo them correctly.
seriously used to sell one a week

if its been serviced correctly theres not a lot that goes wrong
they dont even leak like all other 3s variants, due to being stood up the right way.

coils wear out and can be $$ so make sure you keep decent plugs in it.
dont feck about with the intake unless you do it RIGHT.
seen many that dont run right coz ppl put pods on them and didnt put the air sensor in properly. just fit a decent panel filter in the stock intake.

Oil use 5W30 or 5W40

can you remove the afm insert and clean them ?

mates altezza seems sluggish similar to my mr-s before i cleaned afm.

Most PODs seem to cause too much turbulance for the MAF, so it is almost always* best to keep the factory setup.

*if you have an aftermarket ECU then you can usually tune around some/most/all of the issues, but there is nothing overly restrictive in the factory intake, so why bother.
