sw20 shocks and c.v's

Postby MR2SIK » Tue Feb 17, 2009 4:50 pm

Im in the process of bringing my car up to scratch so I can sell it off, and the back ends taken a bit of a hammering from drag racing.

I need to replace the rear shocks and cv joints. I was always under the impression that they were different parts between turbo and non turbo models, but I keep hearing otherwise.

Question is, are these parts the same, as I have access to a written off low kms non turbo mr2 that I can scavenge parts off, or will I have to go for another turbo model?

Hey, at least it sounds like a 3s.

Pretty sure you'll be able to use the shocks but the cv's will be bigger on the turbo model.

Sweet, that were my thoughts.

If only the exchange rate was decent at the moment, those chunky cvs of twos'r'us would have been perfect :(
