Corolla of some description? But almost looks like a square version of a merc but with a FWD engine??

engine bay is all wrong for 4afe too

some corolla knock off imo :P

door handles and wing mirrors look mitsi to me

My first guess was a 2002ish civic, but that motors just not right.

The back lights also remind me of a holden vectra.

The badge in the the top right of that pic is all over the engine bay and that pic came up when I searched chinese car makes on google.
Plus there's chinese writing on the the rubber hoses

First guess was a 4AFE tappet cover, but it's not,
not even a toyota I don't think,
as it doesn't have the jap style efi connector plugs etc etc.

If I could read the numbers off the map sensor at the back of the pic,
i could probably tell you the make model and approximate year,
but cant quite make them out.

Can Toyota sue their asses off for copying? They certainly blatantly copied a lot of stuff of a corolla.
Another piece of shit form china.
Actually coffin on the wheels, if you have seen the crash tests of these you will understand, a lot worse than lada.
They showed the factory and workers on Discovery, it is appalling.

Yes, it just barely meets the minimum standards required. So it's likely safer than the average mid 1980's car. Probably.
