Caldina Trans/Centre Diff Oil

Does the centre diff/transfer have its own oil supply or is it fed from the trans?

Seems to be a seperate unit. anyone know where the filler/level cap is???

Yes defintily a seperate unit, its quite tricky to get to as well. Its got a filler hole and a drain - similar setup to gearboxes, you fill till fluid level reaches the filler hole

cool, but where? is the filler hole had a look yesterday but cant seem to see it?
Multitrax all good to fill it with?

Its up underneath the car - look where the drive shaft enters the transfer case and its right above it

sweet wiil do had a look there but without taking wheel off, do you go in through wheel arch or from underneath?
What oil did you use? same as gearbox? or does the LSD req something special Toyota said multitrax but seemed a bit vague :?
