Anyone following the targa ?

First day today, mate of mine is doing his first targa and is sitting in 4th currently :D

Yip, Iam helping out as machinic for the Toyota Levin.

He finished up 3rd :D not bad for his very first event with zero sponsorship :D

Yes I did see that, thats a good effort, he might get sponsorship now.

It will be on TV, usually on sundays, TV1 "Powerbuilt Motorsports" but I would imagen it will be a while away before it is shown, also Ground Sky photography were there so it wont be long before they load photos onto there website http://www.groundsky.co.nz/

Yeah im hoping it gets uploaded somewhere - hard to watch tv1 from Sydney !

Thanks for the Groundsky link - ill keep an eye out on there !

I should be back in NZ in time for the dunlop targa in October so ill be sure to attend that one :D ( as a spectator :( )

Haha yeah thats his gf co-driving, she didnt bat an eyelid the whole rally, not even in the 95km/h 180 spin they did ! :P

haha theres a pretty tough examination process to go through from what i hear in order to be allowed to co-drive.
