the only MAJOR difference is if you intend to put coilovers in it.

non s/s coilovers are relatively cheap....but superstrut, expect to pay at least 3-4x the price...or if you are lucky, second hand ones from trademe which will most likely need rebuilding.

+1
and if u get a non facelift with superstrut it mostlikely has the lsd.

What is the main benefit of Super Strut suspension, in simple and realistic driving terms? I know it "minimizes camber change through out the travel of the suspension" but what does that mean in driving effect? I'm not terribly clued up on this sort of thing, I must admit :P

I do like to drive out in the Waitakere Ranges for example, where the roads and corner can get quite rough on suspension. Does Super Strut have any effect on changing your shocks and springs?

In simple terms, it holds the road better, SS cars I've driven feel quite planted vs non ss. Changing shocks is easy as.
1988 KE70 Wagon - Slowly rusting
1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons
2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time
OMG so shiny!

ive been for a few kanings around the ranges in my car, BZR S/S 6 spd. handles awsome, had a mate in a V6 wrx wagon, chase me over the paituia track, he ran out of brakes comeing up behind me at 170k into a corner, mine were fine. So deffenetly goes well. Horror storys tho, when the extra joints wear out the struts are able to turn and the ass ends tends to get slippery
