probably got BHG, as he saying was getting hot in long journeys.
Radiator size for 3SGE is same as 3SGTE from memory...
I would say this car is very dodgy.

not an expert either, but from the reading I had done, it suggested pre IC as then it meant you were venting hot air, so the IC remained cooler... but, I can't see that mattering unless the IC was very close to being too small(overwhelmed/heatsoaked).

would it not be logical to vent it close the throttle body before it gets a chance to pulse back toward the turbo?

I'm pretty sure this is worse. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 275305.htm

Yeahs it NZ new, but making out like theres only 4 or 5 widebodies in NZ! Shit I've seen far more widebodies around NZ then I have narrow. Claiming its got 260hp! Lovely 2-tone body kit, over 200k and starting bid is 10k! Good luck. Man if people out there buy this car for that much I sold my RC for waaay to little. :?

He is right about being only 4 or 5 in NZ, NZ new type As arent common. But its nothing special! Export models actually make LESS power than normal JDM spec GT4s.

And $10k, yeah right!! Id have trouble getting that for my RC i reckon.

Oh and since when did CT26 powered cars make more power than a CT20b one??

In theory.....closer to the throttle body is best. Works on the principles of inertial supercharging........why would you want that air rushing at the throttle body (when it's open) and then rushing backwards to the bov near the turbo.....and then the turbo having to accelerate the mass of air that still remains towards the throttle body again? :? Keep it flowing in one direction - towards the throttle. If the throttle is closed, the bov will be open.

In practice....you'll be doing well to notice any difference

Can't see anything wrong with that celica other than being untidy. I'd sooner pay $3k for it than $2k for a blown up supra Ms Kettle.

man how does a car like that fall into the hands of someone like that?

its funny cos a couple of those three quarter shots which show the guards off had me feeling slightly moist! just needs to lose two tone / hideous bodykit and get some proper wheel fitment to fill those guards... could be sweet.

hi which gear does the turbo kick in im kinda new to turbo cars

trademe never fails to make me laugh.

and being FWD, gets more power to the ground therefor is alot faster then a gt4

a gt4 will do brutal launches if you do not care about the drivetrain. Gtr's would struggle laying down on a na 3s if you gave it too much beans, so good luck with that, lol

EDIT - omg it gets better :)

ive gota problem with how mine runs now ever since i put a boost tap on my mine to wind up the boost it cuts i think its running too much so i took it out, and now the car wont idol either im guessing it could be vacuum but im no mechanic, any ideas would be appreciated, thanks posted by: vinced

woot for vsv and boost controller, hello 18psi and limp mode :)
