I can drop my wait to 90kg but to keep the supra on the road as a daily driver that could be a problem.

yeah - keep it as a road registered, able to drive to the shops, car - that's what makes it awesome

No point having a 9 second car if it "just another drag car"

A 9, or even 10, second street car is a different story....

What about Hiace's or any other toyota utility vehicle for a diff??? Toyota are good at putting all sorts of compatible gear through-out their model range.....??

On the topic of the drags this weekend and pbs with cars running out of gearing, the RIPS 240Z may have had its last event and will probably be going for sale. He raised the boost a bit and raised the revlimit to 9700rpm and busted out four 7s runs in a row, the fastest of which being 7.89 @ 176mph -- on the limiter on all of those runs!

that would be a shame, maybe they feel it hasnt got any more potential left in it. hasnt been competing for long either.

I think its largely safety reasons, it is getting very loose in the deep end now.

Well went to the last friday night drags to find out that my turbo was sick so did not race, i was going to wait till the winter to do a turbo upgrade but have done it now lol well we have gone from a t72 Q trim to a t76 Q trim should give us abit more power and reliable as for the t72 that as been pushed to its limits for the past 2 years which was bloody good.
