Hi guys

I paid this guy 2800 to paint my van, Hes done half the job and now taken off up north somewhere, Can anyone help me track him down.

I only have his first name, Scott
name of business was scottys panel and paint, he was also the owner of island bay rust repairs.
I also have 2 of his old phone numbers but cant post them till I get home tonight.

is there any way of tracking him down? has anyone ever dealt with this guy or know his last name?

Anyone know how to find out which lawyer represents a company?

Long story short, my dad bought a laptop, paid for with his mastercard, the company had none in stock, went bust a week later and closed up shop.

In order to get the charge reversed on his CC we need the store owner to put in writing they cannot supply the goods paid for however the store owner is dodging our calls and not replying to e-mails etc. whatadick.

I checked the companies rego but could not see the info there. The registered company name is 'the bay software limited'.

Just a quick look,

Is this their website? http://www.thebay.co.nz/window/issue0/i ... index.html

Is computer retail their business? Looks like environmental marketing?

Is the street address on the company (#1000739) the shop address or the director's home address?

Have you been through all the documents online?

Have you googled the three names in the shareholder company? So many questions I know :wink:

We've dealt with that scotty guy through our work. I always thought he was quite dodgy whenever he came in. Always driving beaten up illegal cars etc. We always had him pay for his jobs by cash, before he took them away.
He had his business just up the road from my work in porirua.
Havnt seen him in a while.

No sorry, was back in 2007 last time i saw him, when i was working out in porirua, ive since been transferred to our petone workshop.
No regos, as he drove different vehicles everytime.
You could get into contact with my work in porirua, to see if we have any more details about him. Kerry Lindsay Engine Reconditioners 2324808 and ask for Jason.
Not sure if we had his details or not, as the jobs may have just been done as a cash sale, and not through an account.

I also have his old address. its 64 frobisher street in island bay

I was thinking of getting the title of the house so i can get the landlords name then calling them and seeing if they will give me his details

go round and ask the peopl in the house if they have any of his mail say your a relative or something, and you might find something usefull in there,

or you could say that you are a freind from years back and wondered if they had a forwarding address for the guy ....

very good idea, I got the house owners name and number going to give it a try at a better time today if no luck there then I will go around and see if they have any old mail, Say im his little brother just coming to see if anything has turned up
