No tire restricitons...
means road cars can run slicks..

Drifting and grip racing together... that will be fun for the grip racers! :D, esp the top 10 shoot out.

Anyhow I wont be able to make it :(

because the drifters are invite only, and the top guys within NZ we dont expect a huge amount of problems. There may be the odd dirt drop, but no learner style roosters fired all over the track.

It was the best way of trying to counter the complaints about lack of interest and spectators at superlap.

Is it possible to enter both the street and pro classes with one car??

The only reason I ask is with the track time limited to 3 and half hours I would like to get as much as possible.

Just over a week to go people to the season finale

couple of important notes-

Secure parking- As we have had a number of requests, the internal parking around the show hall will be $10, pay on the day, and security will be patrolling this fully fenced area, first come, first served.

Club stand- 4 cars will qualify as a club, not 5 for this show.

The rotor throw and diff push are back!!!

heres there proposed track timetable also for those interested.

There is a weekend only special for track entry- $50 instead of $70, so reply via PM with your details, the catch is YOU MUST PAY BY 12pm sunday 15th to get the discount, so you need to give me a credit card number or make arrangements to pay in person on monday.

Bloody good event really 8) Unfortunately my camera went flat after 3 pics, so didnt get much but there was a really good array of old cars as well as some high dollar new school stuff. Lots of rotaries too, a really big turn out of first gen RX7's.
Personal fav's were the matt black KE20 with the epic cool 5K, the chopped and shortened L200 and the YBT converted MK1 Escort.
1988 KE70 Wagon - Slowly rusting
1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons
2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time
OMG so shiny!

Snozzin (Richard, loud honda tuerno?) ran 17th
Also congrads to Jason who won his class on the dyno with 133kw.
