no power to the engine ae101

just done some work on my gtz and now it wont start. All dash lights and everthing work etc untill i turn the key to stard and then it makes a tick sound from engine bay and it all dies, doesnt turn over or anything. Fuses are fine. And on another accasion when i take the key out one of the relays inside the car on drivers side goes crazy. Any help or ideas welcome thanks

the big click is the starter solenoid checkd battery voltage?

no fully charged battery, if it was battery the lights would stay on the dash wouldnt they?

my ae 101 did it when it had a dead battery in it you would turn the key it would try and start and everything would shut off but it was a seriously buggerd battery

bad battery connection on the battery terminal.


Turn on the headlights and wiggle the batt terminals.

or bad starter motor connection, sounds very simmalr to a problem I had in a car once before.

Where in the car were you working?

Oh and after i try start it the dash does dor a minute but the super charger light flashes on and of

thats strange. I jump started it and it would turn over even though the battery was 14.4v. Can somebody take a pick close up of there fuel rail set up and inlectors etc because i dont think mines sitting right. Turn over but no revs and a petrol smell

the fuel rail binds on the bottom of the inlet cam rocker cover if youre not careful!, trick for new beginners!!

Ive had to take the in/RC cover off before to get the rail back in and sitting flat on the plastic blocks, yeah itl pay to check that eh!
