I've been off there backwards but passenger in another car.
So is the engine sweet? how about the brakes? boiled them?
Also how were the slicks?
Bazda wrote:brakes possibly over heated.
When I ran mitex pads they over heated in 3 laps. The pads started coming off the backing plates.

I was in the red 3 door carina. Was doing 1min19ish laps (3sge).
Glenn in the orange 4 door carina was doing 1min11s (1uzV8).
I was following you down the back straight, saw you tap your brakes about 6 times about the kink, then I see you disappearing in a cloud of grass and dust at the hair pin!
As I went around the hairpin I could see you were still the right way up so I didn't stop
I'm a bit puzzled about your left front brakes - I thought it might have been a stuck caliper slider. Having thought about it... stuck slider would usually wear out the inside pad I think.
Pull your brakes to bits and see what the sliders are like.
Maybe the friction material came off the backing plate in one or 2 pieces, this could explain why the pedal went long on you.
Can't find it on my video sorry, think the battery went flat during that session.

What pads are you running now?
mjrstar wrote:other reports i have say the green machine was having a decent battle with a mad-man in an integra.
cam timing in the 1g's isn't pretty easy... not a lot of info on it but i used some the details from a 7m off the internets..
the only problem with mine is i have to lift the engine out a bit to get the front pulley off...
I can confirm that a lighweight body makes a 1g go well.
Outbraking a fraser... well maybe this wasn't the best idea..
good to hear no major damage!!!
