Finding/Purchasing Caldina GTT ST215w Rear Bar.. HELP PLEASE

Hi guys

i am in Australia, and the Caldinas aren't very big here (yet). I have just imported mine from Japan, and it has rear bumper damage (nothing serious, just a decent sized crack and some scrapes on both corners).

Now I am weighting up my options and looking to source a second-hand white caldina GTT st215w rear bumper from NZ. If anyone knows of one, knows where I could get in touch with Toyota wreckers in NZ to get one, or has any info regarding this could you please reply in this thread, as I am finding it really hard to source this part (if this fails I will bring one in from Japan)

Out of curiosity where did you see the car/know about the cluster problem? im guessing your on toymods also? haha

And yeh i know it needs to be lowered, the wheels are a big improvement in the first place, but springs will come.

As for claying, it took me around 8-9 hours, just because of the stupid amount of fallout/staining/dirt embedded in the paint, the bonnet and roof were the worst obviously as they are the 2 horizontal surfaces, i basically used a whole mothers clay bar. now just for a decent paint cleaner, a cut and polish, and a sealant and she should look better then new.

Cluster problem is common, can search for it on here, requires resoldering of dry point

Yeh hopefully, that have 2 white caldinas on there, one says it has front and rear panels, so im pretty sure they have what I want in stock. now for the price...

Yeah, don't always believe their online stock list.....I don't know how accurate it is these days.

Have a book at work (It's april '09) that dismantlers advertise in, never dealt with these guys, but they have listed having ST215 rear bumpers:

Can't you just get your one plastic welded and resprayed? Then it will be as good as new.

I could but im sussing out a price for this to compare to, as i dont think plastic weld plus a respray would come in at any less then $300 or so

Suitable for stiffening up the ride (though not sure if compatible with his car), not sure about fixing the cracked bumper though

I'd be very suprised if you could get a bumper, bought and sent to Aussie for less than 300.

Save some hassle/money drop ya bumper at ya local panel shop
