Ma45/ae86 t series diff

I have a ma45 t series open diff right but want it to be lsd. I have been told the diff is the same as an ae86 but there are two sizes of shafts in ae86's. I'm not sure which shafts are different and I don't know that much about diffs.
What size do you think I need or does it even matter if I just get the lsd unit?
