LSD for E series rwd diff?

Postby Hachiroku » Wed May 06, 2009 3:02 pm

E series diff is 7.1" from Liteace, live axle Cressida etc. Just wondering whether Toyota ever made a LSD unit for them?

ever thought of using the guts out of an R180 Subby/nissan diff?

i know the H165 head is the same spline as T (6.7") and can be fitted by re-drilling mounting holes (8 instead of 10).
i havn't tried yet, but suspect the same can be done with H190 and F (7.5").
i am sure a KP60 rally car i enquired about on Trade me had a hybrid nissan/subby/toyota solid axle with LSD.
I've been a bad bad boy. I should read the rules and behave before I get spanked by an admin

f#@k you i won't do what ya tell me

I have run an AE86 LSD in a liteace rear diff with a small adapter/spacer plate. You need to run custom axles to suit though.
